Large 8-Inch Touchscreen Display
The UBio-X Face Premium features a slim and compact body with a large 8-inch full-colour LCD touch screen — significantly larger than most biometric terminals on the market. This gives users a clear, intuitive interface and allows administrators to display instructions, branding, or access status messages directly on the device screen. Despite the larger display, the terminal maintains a sleek profile that fits cleanly into modern office and building environments.

Advanced Liveness Detection and Anti-Spoofing
Security is only as strong as the system’s ability to detect deception. The UBio-X Face Premium uses advanced liveness detection technology that identifies and blocks spoofing attempts even when the user is wearing a mask. It actively prevents unauthorized access attempts using printed photos, videos, and 3D face masks — ensuring that only real, live users can authenticate. Three levels of mask detection allow administrators to configure how the device responds when a mask is detected, from warning users to outright denying access.
Thermal Detection Integration
The UBio-X Face Premium can be integrated with a thermal camera module to measure body temperature at the point of authentication. If a user’s temperature exceeds the set threshold, access is automatically denied and the event is logged on the server — a feature adopted by hospitals, government buildings, schools, and corporate campuses requiring health screening at entry points.

It is compatible with leading access control and time attendance software platforms including UBio Alpeta, making it straightforward to add to your current security infrastructure without replacing what you already have. Remote user enrollment via smartphone photo upload is also supported, reducing the time and effort needed to onboard large numbers of staff.
